If you write it, they will read.
Somewhere in the back of my warped fragile mind I honestly believe that. I’ve also missed watching the black text file out of the cursor on to the white screen occasionally retreating as I sporadically hit the backspace button. But for the last six month or more I’ve been blocked on just what I should write about. As some of you may remember I spent a great deal of time covering current events like, the sensational Hanna Anderson story as well as celebrity nonsense like the fall of Mamma June. While I wasn’t sure what I was writing about I know that I always enjoyed the process of it all.
Those stories required diligent and detailed research for me write. Sometimes, those stories took me a couple of days or even weeks to complete. I found the writing skills I gained through this to be very valuable and pride worthy. However, this blog I want to try something different. Because I’ve connected it with so many of my other social media sources and because we live in a “We Want It Now” society, I’m going to attempt “Real Time” blogging. You guys will of course be able to read it in your own time, but I want to post and write about this life of mine as it’s happening. (There’s actually an app for that) Keeping you as up to date as I possibly can with a busy singing career and five children should be similar to trying to put toothpaste back in the tube but OH so entertaining to watch and try. LOL. This should be fun for all of us. I’m hoping that you all join me and stay with me on this wild and crazy ride.
I’ll let you in on a little secret. The theater I’m working for is positioned to become the hottest attraction in Myrtle Beach by the end of the summer. Have you ever seen something explode in popularity and wish that you had been there in the beginning? This is your chance. You’re seeing and reading history here. So stick with me. You won’t regret it.
